You control the space, you have a bathroom nearby, and there's no permit headache. The main requirement is a flat, grassy or paved area that's at least 20 x 20 feet, plus an electrical outlet within 50 feet of where the inflatable will sit.
Park parties offer more space and a festive, open-air feel. The downside is that Chicago Park District locations require a permit, and not all parks have accessible power outlets nearby.
