Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before booking or using any equipment from Pure Play Rentals LLC ("Pure Play Rentals," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Rental Agreement

By completing a booking with Pure Play Rentals, you (the "Customer") enter into a rental agreement with Pure Play Rentals LLC. You must be at least 18 years of age to place a booking. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all guests and participants comply with these Terms and any safety instructions provided by Pure Play Rentals staff.

2. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pure Play Rentals LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for any:

• Personal injury, bodily harm, or death arising from use of rented equipment
• Damage to personal property occurring during the rental period
• Injuries resulting from failure to follow provided safety instructions
• Injuries to participants who exceed the stated age or weight limits

The Customer accepts full responsibility for supervising all participants and ensuring safe use of the equipment at all times. Pure Play Rentals requires the Customer to agree to this liability waiver at the time of booking.

3. Safety Rules

The Customer agrees to enforce the following safety rules during the rental:

• No shoes, sharp objects, glasses, or hard accessories inside the inflatable
• No food, drinks, gum, or silly string inside the inflatable
• Do not exceed the maximum occupancy or weight limits stated for the equipment
• Always have at least one responsible adult supervising the inflatable
• Do not allow children under age 3 or over age 14 inside the inflatable unless otherwise specified
• Do not use the inflatable in winds exceeding 20 mph or during lightning, rain, or severe weather
• Do not attempt to move, deflate, or disassemble the equipment
• Keep the blower running at all times during use

4. Equipment Damage

The Customer is responsible for any damage to the rental equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety rules. This includes but is not limited to: punctures, burns, stains, tears, or damage to the blower unit. The Customer agrees to reimburse Pure Play Rentals for the full cost of repair or replacement if damage is caused during the rental period.

Normal wear and tear is not the responsibility of the Customer.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellation 7+ days before the event: Full refund
• Cancellation 3–6 days before the event: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 72 hours before the event: No refund
• Weather cancellation: If Pure Play Rentals determines weather conditions are unsafe for setup, you will receive a full credit toward a future booking

6. Delivery & Setup

Pure Play Rentals will deliver, set up, and take down all equipment. The Customer must ensure:

• A clear, flat, and accessible setup area (minimum 20 x 20 ft for most units)
• Access to a standard electrical outlet within 50 ft of the setup location
• No overhead obstructions such as power lines or low-hanging branches
• A responsible adult is present at the time of delivery and pickup

Pure Play Rentals typically arrives 60 minutes before the rental start time to set up. If the setup location is inaccessible or unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel the delivery without a refund.

7. Service Area

Pure Play Rentals serves Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland suburbs. Bookings outside our standard service area may be subject to an additional delivery fee or may not be available.

8. Rental Period

The standard rental period is up to 8 hours unless otherwise agreed in writing. The equipment must not be used outside of the agreed rental period. Extended rentals may be available for an additional fee — contact us in advance to arrange.

9. Photographs & Marketing

Pure Play Rentals may photograph equipment at your event for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the event and we will respect your request.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these Terms or a rental agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking governs your rental. We encourage you to review these Terms before each booking.
